Unveiling the Charm of 53 Degrees
On November 18th, Moutai Ireland proudly hosted "The Charm of 53 Degrees" at The Westbury Hotel, an exclusive masterclass that captivated both innovative mixologists and gastronomy enthusiasts. This exceptional event highlighted the unique allure of Moutai, a spirit renowned by its remarkable 53-degree alcohol content and rich cultural heritage of the Moutai brand. Guests had the opportunity to explore the vast possibilities of this iconic Chinese spirit, discovering how it can elevate their food pairing ideas and mixology apparatus.
The master class also featured the exceptionally skilled mixologist professional and Brand Ambassador of MONIN Ireland, Mr. Vladimiros Novrantidis, who delivered an inspiring demonstration of cocktail creations that highlighted Moutai's distinctive characteristics. Vladimiros crafted three innovative cocktails namely: Golden Silk – a perfect twist of classic aperitif which turns Moutai into a refreshing sparkling drink, Moutai Mocha – which takes the coco and coffee taste of mocha to another level, and finally Imperial Harmony – that blended lime juice and matcha perfectly with Moutai. Guests were not only amazed by the delicious tastes of these exquisite concoctions but also gained valuable insights into the art of mixing and creating innovative cocktails with Moutai.
Apart from the drinking experiences, guests also learnt about Moutai's rich history and the meticulous distillation processes which takes 5 years for a batch, that all in all contribute to its exceptional quality of each bottle of Moutai. This not only helps the audience to have a deeper understanding of Moutai as well as injecting more of the stories and cultural values about the brand.
